Good story! I've been designing performance transaxles for an off-road racing company for the last 8 years. I've been lucky enough to co-drive in a 16, 10 and class 1 race car. I did a whole series last year in the class 10 car. I only had one opportunity to ride in the class 1 car which happened to be Vegas to Reno a few years ago. Doing 127mph in the dust of someone else you are trying to overtake so there is just enough visibility to see the telephone poles flying by 10ft to the left of the car is one hell of an adrenalin rush.
