Perfect opportunity for some AMD doors. As long as the doors aren't super out of whack (from what I hear AMD is pretty good), any minor gap issues can easily be fixed with some 1/8" welding rod welded to the edges. That's easy work... fixing that inner structure is not, then at best it'll still be a patchwork of bare metal that will become problematic again. The AMD doors will be coated inside and out, and won't be an issue ever.
