I can only speak from personal experience and others may have different results, but I am using a VaporWorx tank with a vented gas cap AND I do not have a fuel vent system installed. I have put about 10,000 miles on car in the last 2.5 years and have yet to have a problem. This is on a street driven car with a few trips to the drag strip each year.
