The interior rules are stupid imho, they dictate the style someone has to build their car too. SCCA claims they want to increase their membership by attracting cars from GG, USCA....etc yet they make rules that don't allow a custom dash or uncovered custom interior panels. I knew the stupid rules would come, that's why I didn't get too excited when they announced the class. They just can't get past the "run what ya brung" mindset. This class will either die or will get filled with folks from other classes moving to it, I don't see a huge increase in membership with the path they're choosing with the rules.

While I don't care all that much about the interior rules I do like the attempts to keep it more street car themed. There is already CP for people that want to go crazy. Also, I'm an SCCA member and never would of been if not for the CAM T class. I also now have a whole new appreciation for autocross after attending SCCA courses compared to the GG and other courses aimed at our cars.
