Glad to see you have found a shop that you're satisfied with thus far.
Thanks brother.

Honestly, having the car in the right place for me has allowed me to sit back and not think about it nearly as much as I used to. It's moving forward on a proper pace in competent hands. Serenity now!

American Muscle is sorely lacking at the CA tracks unless it is an Optima event or guys hear there is magazine coverage or something (I still can't fathom how many builds are posted on this and other forums and long long technical discussions about the theoretical best parts on a track and just how few cars actually show up at a regular track day).
You are so right and while it has improved since you and went tracking in 2010 and were 2 of the 3 muscle cars out of 60 or 70 cars on those days, we are still the vast minority at any given track day anywhere. I don't mind that though really, but yeah a few more cars of our era would be welcomed out there.

Pro Touring has long been about putting very capable parts on a car that most users won't ever use hard (on a track anyway). And that's fine for those people. More than fine. I bet their stuff brakes less.

There are a lot of negative things about CA these days I bitch about, but the 3 track options (Laguna Seca, Thunderhill, Sonoma) within 1-2 hours of me are not one of them.
