It's too bad they were never sold here, lots of potential in those cars.
You can get them gray market through some importers, but I bet our California smog guys would have a heart attack if they saw one even if you did get all the CARB stickers correct.
Last time I was down in San Diego I saw an R-34 running around. Cool sight!
