I cannot seem to get any good photos of the oil in the pan. Ill try. I am by no means an engine rebuilder. I know that small glitter in the oil is sometimes understandable or ok. But small flakes of metal in the oil are not ok. I ran a magnet through the tailings of metal in the oil and some of it sticks to the metal some other stays in the pan.
I woke up and said F u truck and got to work like any other project. 2 hours later Engine was bolted on the stand and I was ready to order a crate engine this time.
One interesting thing. There is one good hot spot on the flywheel and pressure plate, I am going to reach out to ACT and see what they say There was no hot spot on the factory stuff.
Ordering a few things and looking for a little more information. If I can get a motor, I should be able to get it installed in an evening with a little bit of help with the front clip.
I am going to flip it over in a little bit and pull the pan and see what the heck happened.
Screw you Coyote engine....screw you.
