Also, old school displacement (cubic inches) with a big carb(s) or new age technology (twin turbo's, fuel injected etc). Hardcore race or streetable tuning ? NOS or Naturally aspirated ? As you can tell, there are alot of variations to consider when trying to est a build cost. It is possible to achieve 1000hp with a TT small block but the challange as is relates to cost is achived when trying to make it (a) reliable and (b) streeable.
