I wouldn't even think about spending 2K on that system. Wasn't a top system in the first place. I'd consider a multiport before a throttle body as well. Throttle bodies are just electronic carbs to some degree. AEM, Holley, and FAST would be good alternatives for a multiport.
For TBI I'd do a Holley. MSD and a few others are sealed units, can't be repaired unless you send them back to the manufacturers.
