Gorgeous, Steve! I'd love to have a crew cab Sierra. If mine was 4wd, I wouldn't be looking to sell it.
Maybe in a few months I can add my new to me truck. I'm on the hunt for a 4 door Tacoma TRD Offroad. I plan to mainly just explore/overland so I only want a small lift. I'm thinking 3 inches. 31 or 32 inc tires at most.
Todd, seriously consider what you want to do with the truck. If it's purely looks, go with what you like and can afford. If you have certain plans for the use of the truck, build for those plans. For instance, most overlanders will tell you not to deviate from stock much. It's simply not needed and will cause problems when away from home and the custom suspension pieces can't be purchased at the local parts store. I'm sure you realize all this considering you built one hell of a 69. I just figured I'd toss in my 2c as I'm in the middle of looking into all this myself.
Old Man Emu suspensions are high quality, serious off road components and durable from what I understand.
Good luck! Post pictures when you're done
