This should be a step by step process. Easy Stuff first. Fuel..

It sounds to me like you have a fuel issue, with the funny filling (You should fix that first) then the car dying. It could be a failing pump or something on those lines.

Check the fuel pressure first. If the Fuel pressure drops, you have other things to check. Is it mechanical or electrical. Then dig in from there.

If the fuel pressure does not drop on the corners or the stops, you have another issue, could be a bad tune or even a loose wire or terminal somewhere.

Fuel pressure gauge is easy to hook up especially if you have a regulator.....also, why not a vacuum referenced regulator? Not many tuners like those and they dont run as well without a manifold reference.

Didn't know asking for multiple opinions/suggestions was such a problem? I APPRECIATE each one, and thanks for yours as well. The more suggestions I have, helps this small timer, cut down on wasting money. I've had the tank sent back to Ricks, and they had to adjust/modify the baffle. I am trying to run through suggestions - next will be a pressure gauge. I took the car out this weekend for a run and didn't have this issue.
