I did their measurements and came up with needing one shim (.060) between the collar and the TO bearing retainer. Is this my issue? Does it need more shims? I am using the stock bellhousing also. The pedal has great feel and isn't too stiff.
Any help would be appreciated.

do you recall what the air gap was? sounds like it may be too much.
