That might be more like $.02 in criticism , $.03 of suggestion and $.04 of reasons... But I am still shy of a dime invested.
I have had great luck with 20' of 3/4" line before any drip legs and/or water separator. I hardly get any moisture anymore.

I thought of a flexible hose just didn't know what to use, hydraulic hose huh? I'll have to see where I can get hyd hoses from!
