I have a 12 bolt posi purchase price 650.00 4:11 gears my question is at 650 the gears need to be changed to 3:50 and also c-clip elininators and will get us into the thousand dollar range on it plus brakes, My question is this 3 options We use the 12 bolt or we use the 8.5 10 bolt in the car and put a posi and gears in it, the 8.5 is 28 spline and not really much weaker than the 12 bolt, Or we can buy a ford 9 in housing for A body for 350.00 plus shipping I know of a third member with 3:55 gears and posi 31 spline from a bronco for 150.00 then axles so we will be in it about 800.00 total so the question is 10 Bolt 12 Bolt or Ford 9in
