No need for concern as the C6/C7 Billet Flange actually indexes onto the remaining portion of the factory park brake
dust shield register. By doing this the mounting hardware is simply used for clamping force (tension), and will not experience shear force. In addition, the 1/2" threaded bosses that protrude off the C6/C7 Billet Flange are the icing on the cake so to speak as they further enforce this.
