First was working with the real sheetmetal, I folded the inside lips flat, then rolled them up and in as far as I could with a hammer and dolly. They are really thick metal and took a lot of work. Tried the fender roller with reasonable results but with the non round opening it was a pain in the ass.

Then I got it on the ground and went to work with the old piece of 2" and 1.5" metal DOM tubing (no seams) and I did not think it was going to do anything. Turns out that method worked suprisingly well to actually pull the fender out.

I bet it pulled the lip and fender out below the beltline about 3/4" or so. It worked far better than I thought it would have.
