Regulating the fuel pressure back at the tank and just having a single supply line has been working very well for GM and anyone using a C5 fuel filter/regulator. I see no reason you can't do the same thing with your car even with lower pressures. I would recommend a pressure gauge at the carb or FiTech unit so you can get it dialed in correctly though.
