Default New Old Car - 1967 Chevelle - Morrison Chassis, BBC

Got myself a new ride last week. Unlike the last one, I did not build this one... I made an impulse buy at a local dealership for a price I thought was pretty fair. The car has a few things my old one didn't, including a Morrison Chassis. I posted some pics I received from the builder.
So the story goes like this: I sold my car in hopes of taking some steps towards expanding the business. Things have gone well for the last couple of years, and on Labor Day weekend, I was cruising around the various sites and was suddenly struck with the nostalgia bug. I went as far as finding the new owner's email address and almost contacted him about maybe selling me my car back. But then I realized that it was too long of a shot and went to sleep instead.
The following Tuesday I am having lunch in Encinitas, and I see this thing poking out of used car lot. After the meal I go check it out and I immediately notice the components on the car. I start asking questions, but the sales guy tells me he has limited info, as the car just arrived. It hadn't even been detailed.
Turns out the car was built about a year and half ago for a relief pitcher for the Dodgers. it was driven into a shop in Arizona for a transmission repair, and instead, it got the full treatment of chassis, metal work, and some engine upgrades. There was a lot of pride in the work I took in my old ride, but I can tell you this much that this build is far superior to what I previously owned.

I tracked down the builder of the car, and he told me that his customer had brought in a video of what he envisioned. We quickly realized that he actually used my old feature on Drive to model for this build. see here:

I can tell you that the similarities in aesthetic between the two cars is uncanny. In fact, it made me think that perhaps it was meant to be. Well that was about all I needed, so I got the wife's blessing and brought it home.
