Thats what was stated when I got them. I think what they mean is that it has a larger clearance for studs on older generation vehicles, such as ours. When I was looking into doing this mod, I did read that many people have problems fitting studs through regular rotors, thus meaning these enlarged ones would eliminate that problem....atleast thats what I think.
