Default Magical stamp

Awesome thanks sir. I really appreciate it. I'm currently restoring what I think is a 69 Z/28 and trying to cover everything to be able to authenticate it and to prove to the nay sayers. Thanks again

I kinda joke about it being a "magical stamp". After some research I found that cowl hoods that were on cars from the assembly plant had a date code stamped in the rear driver side corner. It would be a number 1-52. Hoods made by GM for the after market did not get these stamps. Here is a picture of the area of where it should be[/QUOTE]
