It would probably be easier for me to put a channel in the floor next to the DSE subframe connector than to try to do what you did, since the car is already together.
I could drill a hole and pass the line through the length of the connector, though I wouldn't be able to see what was going on with the line for the 20" section in the frame, so I'm not sure if I am a fan of doing that or not. It would certainly be the easiest route.
