Hey thanks! Yeah, I used flat stock on the mini-tubs to spread out the clamping force, however, I didn't have anything narrower than 3" for the dash top, besides there isn't much flat on the top!!

Just an FYI, the adhesive sticks to bare metal so you must ensure your clamps are at least zinc coated or painted, or wrap your bar stock with plastic wrap, or best ... clamps with plastic bases as shown!!
