Over the last few days I built a console. It's far from a professional level but I think it turned out ok.
I started with a sheet of 18 gauge mild steel and after a few templates, cut, fit, trim, fit, trim some more, I eventually ended up with this:
I still need to cut holes for a pair of cup holders build the mounts to hold it in place.
Cup holders and cel phone slot in place...
