Can you address putting the quarter skin in? Is the section you add into the quarter longer than the section you cut out in order to make it stretch and bow a little? I read somewhere this is how it's done. I want to ask someone who actually did it.
When you say "pie cuts" in the fender do you mean little spots cut to take the place of stretching?

If you look at the pics I posted you will see that there is about 1" of the original fender behind the door jamb, that's the "stretch" in the front. I would have done the same in the rear, similar to Steve and John but I opted to just let the rear end get wider...and yes this will require changes to the rear tail panel which I had already planned for. No real play book here, I do recommend looking at Steve and John's builds, both are done very well.
