After trying to get one of these superchargers from work for months I finally was able to get ahold of one. I'm taking a more budget, although still expensive, friendly approach to my engine.
It lasted about 15 minutes before I had it torn down and started blue printing it for port work and ordered a solid coupler to fix the noise.
So far I have about 3 hours into porting it. I have one bank done and I'm about half done with the other bank. This is the main area that needs all the work. Lots of hogging out done so far.
Today I got a good start on the frame rails until I ran out of welding wire. The passenger side is in, fish plates from the backside then reformed the vette frame to better fit the new rails. Hopefully I'll be able to get the rear section finished in the next week or so.
I also dropped the car off at the soda blaster. It should be done in about 2 weeks.
