Two phrases stood out in your original post:
"I gave her the world, everything she wanted..."
And she took it, right? When you find the girl who wants to give YOU the world, you should realize that she's the real keeper.
"and she just walks out on everything. Like it is nothing."
Someone like that doesn't have enough guts or grace to face the person who loves her and say: "It's over, here are the things you gave me" and at least let you have the opportunity to recoup some of the money you wasted on her.
Sorry if I sound harsh, but I've been married to a great gal for 34 years. We've been through a lot, but we've always respected each other. I have, however, seen several of my friends nearly ruined by heartless partners. Just be glad you didn't marry her. The divorce would have REALLY cost you!
Focus on your life and work/school. Don't be too anxious to get into another serious relationship until you've played the field for a while. When the right one comes along, she'll stand out from the crowd!
