Carl Casanova has been running 275s on his stock subframed 68 Camaro for years and he autocrosses/road races the car. If I remember correctly he is running 17x9.5 with 5.5 BS up front with 275/40/17. I have had the same tire combo on the front of mine and driven it.

You can also accomplish this with Speedtechs UCAs/LCAs, AFX spindles and shorter fast ratio steering arms that are shimmed.

However, what are your goals? Why the need for 275s up front?
