This pic should show how I attached the switch mount. I got the switch tab from the donor car but one could be made fairly easily.
It's a simple open/close switch. Plan is to just wire it inline with the starter solenoid. Testing with a meter it gets a closed signal very early while depressing the plunger. So hopefully I can fine tune the pedal stop without having to move the switch.
