Our Impalas have a similar stance but mine has been apart and back together about a million times before I bought it 25 years ago, mostly by people without the proper knowledge or tools. It was my daily driver and I have been lucky enough to keep it the entire time - even for a ten year span where I didn't drive it. Now I have built enough cars to have the knowledge and skill to build the 1961 Impala the way I want so I'm back at it.
