I remember that from those days. Super Stock & Drag Illustrated did a series of articles about that project. I think I still have those magazines in a box somewhere.
There was also a feature on discovery some years ago on it.
As you see on the film the parachutes started to deploy even before he left the ramp.
Crazy to say the least.
