This will give me roughly a 1/4" less in width and 1.5" shorter, which might work out a little better? my other concern is that I gong with a 255/35/19 in the front which works fine, but now I'm wonder if I should go with a 30 series up front in order to keep an 1.5" differential between the front and the rear? or does it really matter???

I am not a fan of 25 series tires on these old cars, I like a little more sidewall. Rule of thumb is that you should never have more sidewall on the front than the back regardless of wheel diameter.
