It seems like I spent forever in the shop today with not much to show for my effort. I did manage to finish getting all the fluids drained, all fuel, coolant, power steering, and brake lines removed. Also got the exhaust taken off and started on the front sheet metal.

tomorrow should be a big day. my son and I will remove the front sheet metal and if all goes well, we will drop the old sub frame out along with the engine and tranny.
