Finally had time to start repairing the rusted sections of the Camaro. Was my first ever attempt at sheet metal fabrication and welding. So the welds arent fantastic and the piece isnt perfect. But the cowl panel still fits nicely and the welds had decent penetration. All in all i'd call it a success.

Going to get stuck into the other side during the week and hopefully have the cowl area rust free by the weekend, then it's onto a few sections of the floor that I can repair. After that it will be time to mock up the suspension and drive train whilst I await my sheetmetal to arrive. I'd like to set the motor as far back as possible for some custom radiator ducting, without taking up too much legroom.
