I'm sure you know it will be a little different for every application. Floor sag, transmission cross member, engine mounts, etc.

What I can tell you is that for me I have roughly 1 inch of gap. I'd think that is reasonable. Its also possible to bend the flange down around the base of the Holley Hump Panel to create even more of a gap.
