I'm going to TRY that larger dose because I "think" I'll be able to handle the effects. Normally they suggest starting with a dose half the size of a grain of white rice.... but I'm an "old hand" now and therefore think I'll be able to tolerate (understand) this higher beginning dosage. I'd like to ramp the dosage rather quickly and work up to taking the recommended 500 mg per day. Last time around I worked up to taking about 1000mg per day just because I didn't understand how to even work out the dosage amount. I plan to get to taking (ingesting) one full gram syringe (720mg) per day as quickly as I can stand it.
