You are spot on Todd, as usual.

I will say that the value of what someone gets for the dollar ...
A. A new base model Howe TA2/GT2 race car is $130k ... $160k with upgrades.
A2. A new base model RSRT TA2 Track Warrior is $110K ... $145k with upgrades.
B. A new base RSRT GT Track Warrior is $170K ... $200k with all these upgrades Greg's has.
C. A new base Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car is $213K ... $235 with upgrades
D. A new Ave/Riley Trans Am race car is $330k ... without engine, trans or body. Add $135k to finish it.
E. A new Panoz Esperante GTR-1 is $890K
F. Of course we all know a lot of high end multi-purpose Pro-Touring cars built to run AX & Track can cost up to whatever someone wants to spend.

Both the Howe TA2 (We're a dealer) & the RSRT TT (soon to be called TA2) perform the same. Our TT/TA2 is not legal in the Trans Am series. It is meant to provide TA2 level performance in whatever muscle car body you want ... 69 Camaro, 70's Camaro or Firebird, Chevelle, etc, etc. Depending on Aero, these cars will be capable of 1:53-ish on the 3-mile Thunderhill track with crows nest & 1:43-ish at Sonoma.

For reference, Greg's mean 65 Mustang ... Ol Yeller ... with 245's all around & no aero ... runs 2:04's.

Greg's RSRT GT Track Warrior will be capable of 1:51-ish on the 3-mile Thunderhill track with crows nest & 1:41-ish at Sonoma. I have a handful of local drivers that could do those times, due to their experience. As we know experience in these type of fast cars is a big deal. Greg being a rookie will be several seconds off that, until he gets similar experience. Once Greg is comfortable, our plan is to run him & the car in some NASA TTU events.

Legend for reading the track records below ...
TTU is NASA's Time Attack with unlimited rules!
T1 is the same thing (sort of) for SCCA
GT1 is full Trans Am Cars
GT3 is "lighter" Trans Am style series for Porsche, Corvettes, etc
GTA is equal to TA2
GTP is for highly developed sports race cars like Panoz, Viper, Corvette, etc
PC is Porsche Cup for GT3 Cup cars only.

Take a look at how these cars compare in performance, for the cost to buy one new.
