It was tough.. I detail it in part one of the engine install story (feb issue).

Had to make a custom line for the steering rack since it didn't let the alt sit all the way back. Then I had to shorten the stud on the back of the alternator by 1/4 inch. It's a pretty tight fit but looks great now and very "tucked away".
