I should have had the headers before I did the transmission tunnel. The American Racing Headers really tuck up tight to the floor. With the DSE subframe and the standard height spacers, there was only 1/4" clearance to the stock floor, no room for V-Bands or drive-train flex. So I redid the floors. Absolutely no complaints here as the ground clearance is fantastic, so....well worth a little extra work. Probably many other easier ways to skin this one if someone didn't want to redo the floors. including just putting the V-Bands further down the exhaust as the floor naturally gets higher a few inches back.
Highly recommend ARH, great people and the headers look/fit awesome. They were fantastic about helping me get the drivers side to fit with the way I did the steering column.
Ready to put her back on the rotisserie to finish all the welding, the rear tubs and exhaust tips.....was kind of a perfect time to put the wheels on and let her stretch her legs for the first time with all the flares complete. Sitting a little low for real life.
