I have used that style of dash bar before, but when researching most of the rules out there (NASA SCCA CASCAR and others) none of them allowed that in their rules. They never said it was bad, they just never said it was good. It seems to be more common in the drag racing style of chassis.
Looks like a good build coming up. I am about a year and a 1/2 into my build and wanted to make sure that I wouldn't run out of posts for a while. Are you further along than you are letting on maybe?
