It all fits just right, except for the parts that don't, which is all of them. That said, there is nothing wrong with the monoleafs. They (along with some decent shocks) are better than most of the coilovers on the market. The neat thing about the Corvette's designers (at least for the past four generations) is the fact that they had/have a really good understanding of unsprung weight and the desire to avoid wheel hop (and apply beastly grip).
You just need a welder, an angle grinder, and some imagination.
