Congrats Keith.

Not trying to take away any of your thunder, but how many times is Hot Rod Magazine going to $hit on me? Every single time I have had work featured in that magazine, they go out of their way to crop my name out of my artwork. When will it stop?

First was Tyler's car, where they put John McBride and GMP Die-Cast RIGHT OVER where I had my name on the image.

Next was the yellow 71 Chevelle I did for Detroit Locker, where they cropped the image to keep my name off of it and made no mention whatsoever that I had anything to do with the project.

In that same issue, I was featured alongside several other artists. I was given the smallest amount of space of all the artists, yet had only 3 days to finish their project, while every other artist had two weeks or more.

I don't understand it. I'm not trying to sound like some Primadonna, but Hot Rod seems to be doing it almost on purpose. PHR and Car Craft were both great about giving credit, leaving my name on the images AND giving me credit in the write-up. I'm not asking to be mentioned in the article itself, just to leave my images unaltered. Resized I can understand, but cropping my name out isn't cool with me.

Tell me if I'm out of line, but it's just happened every time and I'm feeling kinda burned by it.

Again, congrats Keith, the car will be awesome and I'm glad it's getting the press it deserves!

Kris
