If the AFX spindle is in the budget, go for it! If not, save a few bucks by keeping the stock spindles with tall balljoints, and a Kore3 C5 conversion. You can save some money on that too, by machining the stock front drum hubs down to fit inside the C5 rotors instead of buying their billet hubs.

What kind of horsepower are we expecting? Is the 9" even necessary? Maybe you could find an 8.5" 10-bolt? They are kind of rare but still much cheaper than finding a 12-bolt, as they were a mid-year switch in '72... Chevelle, El Camino, Monte Carlo, Lemans, Cutlass, and Skylark all switched to the 8.5" "corporate" 10-bolt sometime in '72. They are way stronger than an 8.2" 10-bolt, and almost as strong as a 12-bolt. They'll easily hold up to 450+hp.

The LEE nascar box sounds great if they don't have some funky setup that makes them easier to turn left than right, or something like that... I really don't know much about them. I do know a Caprice 9C1, or a Jeep Grand Cherokee have a good quick-ratio that can be found cheap... they're nothing like that LEE box, but the budget will be easier to stay under by going "cheap" on a few things.
