I noticed the same thing when I mocked mine up. I didn't spend any extra time figuring it out as I just needed to be able to bolt on the wheels/tires to roll the car around and everything would be coming back apart for paint/powdercoating. Now I'll go out there tomorrow and figure it out since you reminded me. I'll let you know what I find, I'm sure it's doable.
