I too went overboard with shielding wires and fluid lines around the headers and areas that give off heat, on my starter to battery cable and alternator cable I added the spark plug protector boots for an extra added measure of protection, inverted them to take out the ring.

On another note just wondering what single fan you're using? Is it for less fan/rad depth, less air intake tube interference?

That looks really good.
As for the single fan set up. It was part of the Afco LS Radiator / Fan shroud set up that I purchased years ago for the first version of the car. I didn’t change it because it worked so well I’m just going to leave it. I’m still trying to decide if I am going to paint the radiator, shroud and AC condenser. I might leave that for version 3.0.
