Looks like they skim coated the entire door with filler previously? I see it a lot on social media, I guess that's common to get all the panels even?

Be sure to check with your paint guy before you put anything on that bare metal to keep it from flash rusting again... I understand that silicone products are a big no-no.

Sent the pics to a few body guys and they all said it’s older bondo like product. Talked to Joe at Dutchboys and Brycen about protecting the metal after stripping it. Both said to use GIBBs.
