CRC, Chevy2boy, Thanks!

Its always nice to get your beat pumped up!

Here are some pics of the tubs...

http://s138.photobucket.com/albums/q251/Leadfoot1969/

Yo will notice there is a strip of the original tubs still in place attaching to different brackets. We decided to keep that piece of the "Structure" in place in order to keep some of the original rigidity of the -as built- car intact. It might not look important, but there are many differences between a Convertible and a HT. The way its done sure doesn't help on the "Show" side...But makes up for it in strenght.

I will finish weld everything (1" passes here and there) and then grind and fill everything to a nice finish.

I have decided to cage it.................But no main hoop showing out of the cockpit, its all going to be below the door height and probably from the trunk to under the hood, joining the rockers to the frame connector and rails.

I'm starting to really know what i want it to look like now....Its weird. Usually i know ahead of playing what its going to look like in the end. But this one...Its an "Adjust as i go" thing.

At least, i think its not "Going" too bad!!!

Lead.
