I got around to testing the sensor. I started messing around with some wiring and writing on Wokwi with a Nano and a 7 segment display and a Uno and a 7 segment display. I haven't figured out how to code what I need yet, but it looks like its gonna be a lot of typing. There is one 4 pin sensor (5v, gear signal 1, gear signal 2, ground). The readout looks like this just incase anyone better at this wants to take a stab at it lol.

S1 S2
1st 3.1mV 2.7mV

2nd 3.1mV 2.9mV

3rd 3.2mV 2.7mV

4th 3.2mV 2.9mV

5th 3.3mV 2.7mV

6th 3.3mV 2.9mV

7th 3.4mV 2.7mV

N 3.2mV 2.8mV

Rev 3.4mV 2.9mV

Sensor 1 does left-right movement of the shifter and sensor 2 does fore and aft movement.
