That is a good idea, but I have to find someone local. I talked to the guy with the red Z28 I posted and he sadi the 200 mph blast was like nothing. Basically same setup, but he has a Camaro body, I have a Chevelle body.
It is comforting to hear first hand that it was not scary.
As far as being safe, I think I have the bases as covered as can. Hopefully the areo is not a big deal.
Like this guy, not very aero, but still did it!!!
I need to track down and talk to more people with fast cars that did the mile.
