I'm looking at a 2-board spread, with each board having a 2-page car photo, and the car lines are perfect (and this is a on VW Bug, which is very round, which would be very noticeable), but its by a company called Todays People (
http://www.todayspeople.com). If memory serves, we'd pay about 200-250 for the 2 boards, so it sounds like your deal would be ok. Ask them if they could try it again to see how it turns out...
On one of mine, it actuall looks like they shifted the page up (by a hair) to get the car lines to line up, but a small border is off very slightly. Its alot less noticeable than if it was the car...
