Is it a SS?
How can I tell if my 68 Camaro is a Super Sport or a Standard? The car didn't come with any paper work nor did it come with an engine or tranny. The car resides in southern California at my grandparents lot. I will be out there this weekend to pull it out of the weeds and to write down the vin and cowl tag numbers....what should I be looking for that will help me determine if it is an SS or not? There is a factory hole cut in the floor for the tranny, which i was told made it a 4 speed car, but i'm sure they made automatics in the floor as well. Thanks!
